Social Behavioural Change Communication Program


The Social Behavioural Change Communication Programme aims to contribute towards increase the health and wellness of the people of Zimbabwe by reducing HIV incidence, increasing knowledge of HIV and health issues as well as risk behaviours and key drivers of HIV, linking people to referral pathways and mobilising people for sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services.

The program include door to door visits by community volunteers to households and SRH sessions are conducted, group sessions where community members are mobilised into groups by age and sex and they go through SRH sessions for a number of weeks until they complete the sessions. School in health programs as well as workplace programs are also included.
